Good Morning

I know that Janine is most likly sitting there pounding away on the key board, typing up a great morning post. But I have been waiting for over an hour and I need to get moving. LOL

Yesterday was a busy day for us here. Had a house full of wonderful people coming over to say HOWDY!!

First off I went to walmart and pick up DD medication, then had to rush myself to the ER after paying the bill. OMG!!! $200 dollars for one month of medications. OH SHI*! this is going to cost me some bucks.  If any one would like to help out, I will open account under the name of "Oh Shi*" at bank of Luana. I just hope her SSD comes through fast.

After that she had a friend come over to visit, and I ask the friend if she was going to be there for a bit, like an hours, so I could go and get my nails done. She was yap, not a problem, but she told me a fib and left about 20 minutes after me. I called to see how DD was doing and there was no anwers. So I waiting a bit, because DD can't swicth over if there is a second call coming in. So I waited for a 10 minutes and called again. No answer. Yap, now I am picturing all kinds of stuff wrong. Her friend was to wait for me to get back. WTF!!! I called about 20 times before taking off to get home. My nail where not even done. She was fast asleep in bed and the phone was in the living room. OK my second trip to the ER....(just kidding) Her friend left because she wanted to go to sleep. UGH!!!!!

After that a friend and her kids came over and spent a bit of time. It was so good to see her the baby. OMG she is a great friend, and I am so blest to have her in my life. Thank you, to my "Higher Power" for bring her into my life. You should see the great gift she made me and DD. (yes, she talked me into the other one) They are hand made with so much love, it was to sweet. Thank you!

Then, last night a friend from work and his wife came over with dinner and to hung out. We watch TV and had great food. They brought over some gifts for Fresser and KC. And they brought there dogs, so we had a house full. It was really a very nice day. It think it wiped DD out, because she went to bed at 8 and slept all night. LOL But she did eat a great dinner, and that was one of her problems in the hopital, she would NOT eat. So this is a good thing.

Today I get to go to work, so I can rest. My sister Dana is coming over to take care of DD. Now she will know what I have been going throu. LOL Welcome to my world.

Liz, thank you for letting me whinning to you yesterday, trust me, it helped me cope with the rest of the day. LOVE YOU!!!!
Janine, I might not be in on the secert pal, and miss that, but I know I would not have the time, but it sure looks like everyone is having a great time with it. Thank you for putting it together.
Krsity, congrats on the birth of your baby girl. What a great gift for the year. Glad to hear you and your gift is doing good.

I know I missed some great people, and for that I am sorry, but do not let that stop you from checking in and telling us how you are doing. Keep up the great job of supporting each other. This site rocks!

Wow, what a day!!!  I know what you mean about going to work to get some rest.  You know if you need anything give me a call.  Even to come over and stay with DD for a bit so you can get some errands done give me a call I would be more then happy.  I'll pm you my cell phone number.

I am glad DD is doing better!!!  Yes, the cost of medicine could send anyone to the ER.  I don't know how people do it that are on SS only....

i'm going to my mom's today to get the holiday cookies done.. my oven is whacked.. i haven't been able to figure it out yet... i need a thermasat for the oven... so that's what i'm doing today.. i do want to add my clothes are fitting losser everyday.. wooo hoooo.. now i'm gonna need new clothes soon.. has anyone here done the clothing exchange???how does it work??? anyway i'm gonna get myself today and get ready for my mom's house.. i hope everyone has a great day... remember those vitamins

Good Morning Lu and Cali Guys and Gals,

Cool that you had so much company yesterday that is always fun.  I went to the Long Beach cofee and had a blast.  Met a bunch of new people, saw old friends, got some good pants that I needed.  It was a great day overall.  Today, my bothe BIL are coming to pick up the remaining furniture of my mothers and now I can get to cleaning out my garage!  I just can't wait to have my office/craft area/gym back.  It is going to be good.  It is cold in here, but I have a mini heater so it should not be too bad.  Well I better go and make breakfast for my starving children or they will cause a riot.  Missed you this morning Janine.  Talk to you later and be happy, do something nice for you today!

DH and I had a nice time at his work christmas party last night. Today is a kids party at the moose lodge. We'll be taking Sammi to that. I did get a good picture of her on Santa's lap last weekend.

Lu, so happy to hear your sister is doing very well.  It is shocking how much meds costs these days. 

Got lots done yesterday, and hope to get to Modesto for the Chevy's get together but the rain may put a damper on that.  The levy roads get ugly in the rain.

Good Morning all.  We had such a blast yesterday riding our quads in the mud!  Wow.  Getting dirty is fun.  I had a bit right at the beginning where I had to re-find my center of balance and how/where to lean to slide and spin.  90# makes a big difference doing tricks!  But, it was a lot easier riding.  Wore my butt out!  For the first time ever I did do a jump and got all 4 wheels off the ground. 

Today we finished Christmas shopping.  Joe needed my "help" with purchases for me.  Mainly I needed to fit my new hunting boots to my feet!  I have warm happy feet!  YaHooooo! 

He bought me a new stereo for my desk at work and I don't know what kind or what features it has but I have to wrap it without looking.  How?

I'm getting ready to go skiing here soon.  My old ski pants from a zillion years ago actually fit now.  Ha!  I can also get the top latch on my boots done now too.  I Love My RNY!!!!

Dad went out to get a load of firewood (and maybe shoot a wild pig) and Jayden and I are here trying to get the fire started and I need to make 2 blankets.  I am totally procrastinating but really need to get them done today.  Off I go

I am so glad that you have posted Lu.  I have been praying my fools head off hoping that all is well with both you and DD.  I am glad that she is home and that she is improving.  As with what Michelle said, if you need to do some things let me know I can come over and watch DD, now if she is not supposed to laugh, then don't ask me.  I don't know why, but I had a friend in the hospital and when I went to go and see her, I had to promise not to make her laugh!  Do you know how hard that was??? 

For me today, I am going to think, and I mean THINK about doing some baking.  Not sure I am going to but I am going to try and find something easy to make and try and get the Christmas spirit.  The house is all decorated inside and out, but with the way things are right now, there is not ONE gift under the tree and there is not going to be any.  Doug and I already bought ourselves a gift, we got a WII when we were at Tom's Farm.  So that is our gift for each other.  We have never done that before and I am not sure I like doing that, I am like a kid in a candy store with presents and everyone in the family is going to miss me whining about opening at least ONE gift before Santa comes.
